Water trap. Water traps are designed for installation in lids or top surfaces of fermentation tanks of all types. They ensure the smooth removal of carbon dioxide generated during the fermentation of mash, wine, or beer wort. At the same time, they do not let air inside, which will spoil the workpiece.
The product is made of transparent plastic with a rubber seal at the bottom. To install it in the lid of the fermentation tank, a hole of the appropriate diameter must be made. Then the odor trap is filled with water, which is the separating medium between the carbon dioxide inside and the air outside.
